Kyoto Robotics is the market leader in 3D vision for intelligent bin-picking robots. We are developing state-of-the-art technology for robotic bin-picking that incorporates 3D vision, motion planning, manipulator control, and machine learning, in order to fulfill the vision of a fully automated factory.
We have an estimated share of 60% in Japan's domestic market and have recently started developing and selling vision-based intelligent robots that integrate vision, motion planning, manipulators and smart hands.
We have a total capital of roughly 1 billion Japanese yen and our investors include the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (an investment fund sponsored by the Japanese government) and the Mirai Creation Investment LP (funded by Toyota Motors Corporation and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation), Toyota Tsusho Corporation, and Omron Ventures. We are currently working towards an IPO in 2020.
